The next couple of days will be spamtastic as I wish to get as much as possible about my OCs into my gallery for the contest. As apologetic as I am for this, I hope that, at the same time, you can find something that's to your liking.

I couldn't use the scanner for this because my dad's decorating downstairs, so I had to use my phone to take the picture. Sorry for the blurry picture!

This is a WIP of one of my favourite OCs, Violet Redwood. I did this about...eh, three weeks ago? You can tell because I currently would do the arms and the shawl differently, the shawl in terms of folds. Speaking of the shawl, it looks like I was lazy and covered her shoulders with it, but I swear that I got them perfect and just really wanted the shawl. Blame the glamorous girls at Beauxbaton (the French school in Harry Potter) for getting me addicted to those shawls.

Violet is very much the comic relief in Book Three: not because she's funny, but because it's fun to laugh at her. She's afraid of a lot of things, which will be explained in her Character Biography.

She tells Alex that one time she was afraid of her own bedroom floor because she thought it was angry at her because she likes to pace the floors. She then said that it turns out the floor was fine with it, so she wasn't afraid anymore. She seals the madness by blurting out to Alex 'I like my bedroom floor: it's the only thing I get to walk all over'.

She's so adorable.

Again, I'd prefer it if crits were kept for the full version: I'd like feedback on the background when it's done because I usually fail with backgrounds.
